Today, Maxim Berin is focused on advancing culture at the highest international standards — not only by inviting leading artists to Dubai, but by developing major classical events built on his work with Jose Carreras, Jonas Kaufmann, Roberto Alagna, Elīna Garanča, Sumi Jo, Denis Matsuev, Lang Lang, Maxim Vengerov, and many others.

The Christmas Gala will capture the spirit of seasonal elegance and joy. It will feature some of the most exceptional voices in the opera world.
Tenor Vittorio Grigolo will bring expressive power and the unmistakable flair of the Italian operatic school.
Baritone Luca Salsi will enrich the evening with emotional intensity and mastery of classical repertoire.
Soprano Alisa Medvedeva will complete the ensemble with her bright, refined vocal clarity.
The National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, recognized for its artistic expressiveness since 1937, will accompany the vocalists. The gala promises an evening of polished musicianship and festive atmosphere.
January will mark another highlight as Dubai Opera presents the city’s first production of Handel’s Tamerlano on January 10 and 11, 2026. Audiences will encounter a revitalized interpretation of the 1724 opera. Director Stefano Poda creates a world where visual art and music merge seamlessly, transforming the stage into a sculptural environment animated by movement and light. Composer Kirill Richter expands the original score with the timbres of traditional Uzbek instruments, adding a rich intercultural layer.
