On May 1st, Munich was not just celebrating the arrival of spring, but also embracing the deeper spirit of unity and generosity. The fourth annual Teplyi Dom by Anya event, founded by Anna Stukkert, brought together a vibrant community of creatives and volunteers, shining a light on the importance of supporting the city’s elderly residents through love, art, and charitable action.
This year’s event was more than a simple seasonal gathering. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Klara Pecherskaya, Tatyana Sazonova, and Lyudmila Sipilina, the afternoon unfolded into a touching celebration of the power of human connection and compassion.

A standout moment came with the premiere of the original play Hallelujah of Love, penned and directed by Tatyana Sazonova from Odesa. The play, a moving narrative that navigated the journey from despair to hope, explored the redemptive power of love. The cast, featuring Gencho Todorov as Satan and Nadezhda Kravchenko as Love, captivated the audience, while a particularly emotional scene, set to a powerful aria from Juno and Avos, saw the Angel (Aurelia Todorova) offering Satan a red heart painting — a moment that beautifully symbolized transformation and healing.
Volunteers Anna Derevianko and Anna Brandt also played pivotal roles, adding their voices to the day’s extraordinary spirit of giving.

Beyond the stage, the event flourished with an afternoon filled with food, live music, poetry, and dance. One of the most unforgettable moments came from Alexandra Zalevskaya, whose wheelchair dance Keep Going and Never Give Up left everyone in awe, showcasing immense resilience and grace.

A new chapter was added to the event’s history as, for the first time, the seniors attending the celebration led a fundraising campaign to support Ukrainian orphans. This beautiful gesture of intergenerational solidarity spoke volumes about the community’s heart and the far-reaching impact of love.

Teplyi Dom by Anya continues to be a beacon of warmth, compassion, and unity, demonstrating that kindness is a universal language that transcends all boundaries.
As the organizers remind everyone, this is just the beginning.
