Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner & Congress Awards | La Dolce Vita | Venice, 11 September 2026

On 11 September 2026, Thomas Misse and the Royal Gentlemen Club will welcome an international circle to Ca’ Sagredo Hotel for an evening inspired by one of Italy’s most enduring ideas: La Dolce Vita. The Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner & Awards will include the Congress Awards founded by Anna Stukkert, bringing recognition, philanthropy, jewellery and international society together on the Grand Canal.

The concept begins with place. Ca’ Sagredo is not simply a luxury hotel but a historic 14th-century Venetian palazzo, its rooms carrying the visual language of the city itself. For a Black Tie dinner devoted to Italian Grand Art de Vivre, the palace offers something modern venues cannot manufacture: continuity, memory and atmosphere.
The date is equally significant. The gala falls during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, which runs from 2 to 12 September 2026. Since 1932, the world’s oldest film festival has made Venice a yearly destination for the international film community. Its premieres attract actors, directors and producers, while an extensive global media presence of journalists, photographers, critics and broadcasters amplifies the Festival far beyond the Lido. At the same time, Venice fills with private gatherings, presentations and brand moments, making the period one of Europe’s most concentrated windows for cultural communication and international networking.

Royal Gentlemen Club will translate that energy into a more private format. Rather than competing with the scale of Festival week, the gala will focus on a selected guest circle, long-table hospitality, conversation and the codes of traditional Black Tie.
The Congress Awards will provide one of the evening’s defining moments. Eric Adams, who served as the 110th Mayor of New York City from 2022 to 2025, will be among the laureates and is expected to receive a Congress Awards distinction at Ca’ Sagredo. His public career also includes terms as Brooklyn Borough President and New York State Senator.
Joining the international guest circle will be Alisa Roever, founder of Angels Helpers Foundation. Her participation introduces a philanthropic voice to the programme and reflects the evening’s ambition to connect public figures, entrepreneurs and cultural personalities with people involved in charitable and socially oriented initiatives.
Alisa Roever is a New York-based philanthropist, entrepreneur, and founder of Angels Helpers, whose journey from Siberia to the international stage has evolved into a broader mission of social impact. After moving to New York City at the age of 20, she built a career spanning modeling, health and wellness before becoming increasingly active within the city’s philanthropic, business, and civic circles. Roever has engaged with prominent figures in New York public life and served as a volunteer for Eric Adams during his tenure as Mayor of New York City.

Today, she channels those relationships across civic leadership, business, culture, and philanthropy into the work of Angels Helpers, creating access to education, the arts, professional mentorship, and new opportunities for talented young people. At the heart of Roever’s philosophy is a simple principle: talent should never be limited by a family’s financial circumstances, and influence has its greatest value when it is used to open doors for the next generation.

The event’s official jewellery story belongs to Oliver Weber Collection. The Austrian brand will present an exclusive showcase of its new Dolce Vita Collection, conceived as an ode to beauty, femininity and living in the moment. Inspired by Venice, the designs echo the city’s architecture, soft light, reflections, Carnival and cinematic glamour. New Swarovski® crystal colours meet the brand’s characteristic precision and subtle handmade touch.

For one evening, Royal Gentlemen Club will create its own interpretation of Festival-time Venice: not another red carpet, but a private world behind the doors of a Grand Canalpalazzo, where recognition, style and international conversation share the same table.
